Moco Museum London: Immersive Modern & Contemporary Art at Marble Arch
London is full of world-class museums, but if you’re looking for something a little edgier, more immersive, and fun, the Moco Museum near Marble Arch is a must-visit. This isn’t your typical “quiet, hands-behind-your-back” gallery, it’s vibrant, rebellious, and built for people who want art to feel alive. Tickets can be booked easily in advance here.
Why Visit Moco Museum?
Moco has already made waves in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and now it’s brought its signature mix of modern, contemporary, and digital art to London. You’ll find Warhol, Banksy, Kusama, plus futuristic light installations and even an exhibition by Robbie Williams (yes, the pop star!).

What makes Moco stand out is its ability to mix the serious with the playful, you’ll go from iconic classics to glowing infinity rooms to raw, thought-provoking works in the span of a single visit. This is perfect if you’re looking for things to do in London. To guarantee entry, it’s best to book your tickets online before visiting.
How to Get There
The Moco Museum is located at 1-4 Marble Arch, London, W2 2UH, right by the famous Marble Arch landmark. The easiest way to reach it is by taking the Central Line to Marble Arch Station, it’s only a short two-minute walk from there, making it very convenient to add to your day out in central London.
My Experience
I visited on a weekend midday and was pleasantly surprised, it wasn’t overly crowded, which meant I could wander at my own pace. Each floor had its own personality:
- Ground Floor: Bold and loud, with Warhol’s pop art, Hirst’s edge, and playful metallic sculptures.
- Basement: My personal favourite. Immersive rooms filled with infinity mirrors, glowing digital tunnels, and light sculptures, it felt like stepping into another world. The Japanese-inspired installation was especially calming and magical.
- Top Floor: Banksy’s biting satire sat alongside the playful works of KAWS and Murakami. Robbie Williams’ Radical Honesty exhibit added a raw, personal twist I didn’t expect.
If you want to see it for yourself, make sure you secure your tickets online.

Best Time to Visit
If you want space to really enjoy the immersive rooms, go on a weekday morning. Weekends are manageable (I went midday and it was fine), but earlier is always better for that “lost in art” feeling. Booking ahead through this site is the best way to skip any queues.
Travel Tips
- Audio guides are optional but worth it if you want a deeper dive into the artists.
- Bring your camera, this museum is very photogenic.
- Allow about 1–1.5 hours to explore comfortably. There’s no time limit how long you can stay.
- Don’t skip the gift shop for quirky art books and prints make great keepsakes.
- Tickets can sell out, especially on weekends, so it’s smart to reserve in advance.
- Tickets are priced at £20 for visitors aged 17 and above, £14 for children aged 4–17, and free for children under 3.

Highlights
- Over 100 works across modern, contemporary, and digital art.
- Basement digital immersion with infinity mirrors and glowing light tunnels.
- Robbie Williams’ Radical Honesty with raw, unexpected, and emotional.
- Iconic names: Warhol, Banksy, Kusama, Koons, KAWS, Murakami.
- A playful, rebellious energy that makes art fun again.
Final Thoughts
The Moco Museum is proof that art doesn’t have to be stiff or intimidating, it can be bold, playful, and immersive. Whether you’re an art buff or just looking for a cool activity near Oxford Street, Moco is absolutely worth your time. I left feeling both inspired and refreshed (and with a full camera roll!).
