Kisik Seafood Bar & Grill is tucked away inside the luxurious AYANA Resort, located in Jimbaran, Bali—a region famous for its seafood. What makes this restaurant truly unique is its cliffside setting, where you dine just above the waves, surrounded by the sound of the ocean and the glow of flickering torches.
While the setting mimics the experience of dining on a beach, you’re actually on a cliffside terrace, it has some of the most breathtaking sunset views in Bali. The atmosphere is relaxing, making it the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply indulging in an incredible meal with a view.
💡 Tip: Make sure to book in advance, especially if you’re planning to visit in the evening to catch the stunning sunset over the ocean.
Food Experience: Fresh Seafood, Hand-Picked by You
One of the most exciting aspects of dining at Kisik is the interactive seafood selection. As you enter, you’ll notice a beautifully displayed seafood bar, where you can hand-pick your own fresh seafood from an extensive selection, including Crabs, Lobsters, Prawns and A variety of fresh fish and shellfish
Everything is priced per weight, allowing you to choose exactly what you’d like to eat and how much. Once selected, your seafood is grilled to perfection in a traditional Balinese-style seafood barbecue.
For starters, they served one of the best crackers I’ve ever had – crispy, light, and full of flavour. It was the perfect way to begin the meal and set the tone for the amazing seafood feast ahead.
Alongside your seafood, your meal also includes a warm, flavourful soup, steamed rice, fresh salad and a variety of signature sauces to enhance the flavours.
The combination of high-quality, fresh seafood and traditional Jimbaran-style grilling creates an unforgettable culinary experience. Every bite is bursting with natural flavours, smoky aromas, and the perfect touch of Balinese spice.

While I only found out about Kisik during my visit in Bali, I was lucky to make a reservation one day before. However, I would recommend making your reservation in advance to secure the best sunset seating!
