Happy Ending Burgers || Concord
The biggest burgers and the best-loaded fries in Sydney I’ve tasted so far. Happy Ending Burgers is located in Concord and is highly rated in my burger joint-favourites. Here’s why:
Kai Burger $16
Honestly, the biggest burger I’ve eaten in Sydney. The size of the fried chicken sandwiched between the buns was large and juicy. A slice of tomato and lettuce balanced the crunchy texture. Of course, the sauce and mayo complete the whole burger itself. (p.s. it gets messy due to the size of the burger, and the amount of sauce/mayo added)
Lemon and pepper fried chicken wings $8.50 for two
Love the crunchiness of the chicken wings. However, it wasn’t my favourite since the fried layer ripped straight of the chicken skin. I usually like it when the skin is actually fried too but overall the seasoning of lemon and pepper was a nice combination, and the chicken was cooked well.
Loaded fries $8
The fries were topped with cheese sauce and bacon. It is the best cheese sauce layered on the chips in my opinion. The bacon was a mix between crunchy and still soft to enjoy. Usually loaded fries are too saucy and make the fries soggy, or there are too many flavours going on, but Happy Ending Burgers did a fantastic job with the loaded fries. I’d definitely visit again for them. ⭐
Korean Screw Bar Soda $5
The best refreshing drink offered to go through your system after a fried meal. It is sweet, but it is the ice-cold soda that makes it so fresh. Happy Ending’s added a popsicle to keep the flavour strong, or you could eat it. I thought this was a pretty innovative idea for a drink and it all tasted really nice with lime.

- Prepare to eat fried food (burgers, chips and fried chicken, etc.) and get your hands dirty (luckily they provide you wet wipes)
