Real Beijing Food House: All-You-Can-Eat Halal Hotpot in Chinatown London
Hotpot is one of those dining experiences that brings people together — cooking, sharing, and chatting around a steaming pot of broth. But finding a halal-friendly hotpot spot in London? That’s something I hadn’t come across before — until I discovered Real Beijing Food House.
Located right in the heart of Chinatown, Real Beijing Food House offers all-you-can-eat (AYCE) hotpot with an wide variety of meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables — all for £32.80 per person. If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on meal with endless options, this spot is definitely one to add to your list.

The Experience
Walking into Real Beijing Food House, we were greeted by friendly staff who quickly showed us to our table. The ordering process is simple — you’re given a paper menu where you tick off everything you’d like to try.
We chose two soup bases: Mushroom and Chicken — a perfect combo if you’re after something both earthy and comforting. Once the broth started bubbling away, the feast began!
When the soup base starts to run low, the staff top it up so you can continue to enjoy your hotpot meal.
The Food
Now onto the best part — the unlimited food selection. For the price, I was really impressed by the variety on offer. There’s everything from:

- Thinly sliced halal beef and lamb
- Juicy prawns, squid, fish, and fish balls
- A range of mushrooms, fungus
- Quail eggs
- Fresh vegetables and leafy greens
- A selection of noodles (fresh and udon) to soak up all that delicious broth
We wanted to try a bit of everything — and by the end of the meal, we were absolutely stuffed. What I loved most is how the broth got richer as we kept cooking different ingredients — especially with the mushroom base, which became so flavourful by the end.
One thing to keep in mind is that sauces aren’t included in the price — they cost £2 each. If you’re a fan of dipping sauces, I’d recommend getting a few to mix and match (the sesame, garlic, coriander and shallots were our favourites!).

The Price
For £32.80 per person for 1.5 hours of unlimited hotpot, I think it’s great value — especially considering how much variety there is. While the sauces being extra is something to factor in, the amount of food you get makes up for it.
If you’re someone who loves trying lots of different flavours in one meal, this is definitely worth the price tag.
Final Thoughts
Real Beijing Food House is a game-changer for halal dining in London. The combination of quality ingredients, friendly service, and AYCE portions makes it a spot I’d happily return to.
Whether you’re a hotpot regular or trying it for the first time, this place delivers on both flavour and experience. Just make sure you arrive hungry — you’ll leave completely stuffed (in the best way possible!).
